THE PRINCESS AND THE BLACK CAT
Part 9

The crossbow day begins in a cold and smoggy day. The leader of the competition with 6 golden coins was Felix the Blackcat followed by Dreyfuss with 5 golden coins, Timmerman with 4 golden coins and Lewis Strong in fourth place with 3 golden coins.
The visibility was not appropriated for the final competition but, will start any way in one hour. The rules are:
1- Who hits right in the fly becomes 5 points, close to the fly 3 points and 1 point to hit the target.
2- Any player has 5 arrows shots.

Eureka trained Felix before and teaches him some tricks, like to pass wax in the arrows to have more Speed and precision. Teaches to analyze the wind, because the distance to the target will be 100 meters the wind and the bad visibility would be a problem.
The Angel said:
- My boy! You need to defeat only the three opponents, Dreyfuss, Strong and Timmerman. Stay concentrated.
- Thanks my friend the only thing I think now is to be with the Princess Tammy, I promise you I would not disappoint you.
- I know Felix, she is also waiting for this and she asked me to tell you something “Wherever would be the final result of the competition my boy! I’m so proud of you anyway; if you win or not you are still my hero and I love you.”
By the first shot Felix point the arrow precisely in the fly and hits 3 points only, because the pressure of air and the wind, not bat at all.
By the second one he analyzes the first shot and point the arrow higher than before and west from the first time.
- Wow! That’s it great Felix you found the way. Said Eureka.
5 points for the second shot, 5 points for the third too and 5 points for the fourth shot.
In total before the last shot Felix accumulated 18 points, two points behind Dreyfuss and John McClain. Timmerman could not defeat anymore, because he missed one shot and Strong had only 12 points.
John hits 3 point and finished with 23 points, Dreyfuss hits also 3 points to equal with John’s score but, another time Felix look at the tribune send a kiss to the Princess and kissed twice the amulet. He concentrated himself for the final shot, stop to breath for a while and shot precisely in the fly as a miracle. He wins the competition.
Anybody comes to congratulate him.
Felix was in heaven, he knows that tomorrow would be the day of his life, tomorrow the sun will shine again for him.
